Color code for the lodges' classification Standard Lodge Deluxe Lodge Luxury Lodge   TANZANIA & KENYA SAFARI: APRIL   Day 1 Arrival Nairobi   Upon arrival in Nairobi Airport, met by our office staff, and transferred to hotel in Nairobi. Panafric Hotel / Nairobi Safari Club / Nairobi Serena Hotel. Driving distance from Nairobi airport to hotel in Nairobi (approximately): 20 minutes Day 2 Nairobi / Masai Mara:   After breakfast, we drive to Masai Mara Game Reserve, arriving in time for afternoon game drive in Mara.  Sarova Mara Camp / Mara Simba Lodge / Mara Serena Lodge, B,L,D. Driving distance from Nairobi to Masai Mara (approximately): 6 hrs Day 3 Maasai Mara:   We will spend more time in Maasai Mara, Kenya's finest wildlife sanctuary, with over 450 specifies of birds, lions, leopards, buffalo, elephants, rhino, giraffe, antelopes and other animals. Game drives in Mara. Sarova Mara Camp / Mara Simba Lodge / Mara Serena Lodge, B,L,D. Day 4 Maasai Mara/ Nairobi:   Another game drive in Masai Mara, then drive to Nairobi. Panafric Hotel / Nairobi Safari Club / Nairobi Serena Hotel., B,L.  Driving distance from Masai Mara to Nairobi (approximately): 6 hrs Day 5 Nairobi to Amboseli:   Today, We drive to Amboseli National Park, famed for its scenic beauty and enormous collection of big game and snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro. Afternoon game drive in Amboseli, Oltukai Lodge / Amboseli Sopa Lodge / Amboseli Serena Lodge, B,L,D.  Driving distance from Nairobi to Amboseli (approximately): 3 to 4 hrs Day 6 Amboseli / Arusha / Lake Manyara:   After breakfast, we drive to Namanga (Kenya – Tanzania border). Change of vehicles and drivers at the border, proceed to Arusha for hot lunch at Impala Hotel, then drive to Lake Manyara National Park. The Park is famed for its abundant birdlife, tree climbing lions and large herds of elephants. Other animal to be seen include buffalo, hippos, giraffe and antelopes. Late afternoon game drive in Lake Manyara.  Lake Manyara Hotel / Kirurumu Luxury Tented Camp / Gibbs Farm, B,L,D.  Driving distance from Amboseli to Arusha (approximately): 4 hrs Driving distance from Arusha to Lake Manyara (approximately): 2 hrs Day 7 Lake Manyara / Serengeti:   After breakfast, we drive to Serengeti national park, the largest in Tanzania. Game drives in Serengeti. Seronera Wildlife Lodge / Serengeti Sopa Lodge / Serengeti Serena Lodge, B,L,D.  Driving distance from Manyara to Serengeti (south / central) (approximately): 4hrs Day 8 Serengeti:   More game drives in Serengeti, exploring the seemingly boundless plains and woodlands of this great eco-system. Some of animals that can be seen in Serengeti include lions, cheetah, hyenas, elephants, wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, and over 450 species of birds.  Seronera Wildlife Lodge / Serengeti Sopa Lodge / Serengeti Serena Lodge, B,L,D. Day 9-10 Serengeti:   More game drives in Serengeti. Seronera Wildlife Lodge / Serengeti Sopa Lodge / Ndutu Lodge, B,L,D. Day 11 Serengeti / Ngorongoro Crater:   After breakfast, we leave Serengeti for Ngorongoro Crater. We will arrive in the crater for an afternoon game drive in the crater. Ngorongoro Crater boasts one of the largest concentration of animals, and here we can see, lions, cheetah, leopards, elephant, buffalo, about 400 birds species and more. Out of the 400 birds species found in the crater, 100 of them can’t be found in Serengeti!  Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge / Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge / Ngorongoro Serena Lodge, B,L,D. Driving distance from Serengeti (south / central) to Crater: (approximately): 3 to 4 hrs Day 12 Ngorongoro / Arusha / Departure:   Descend into Ngorongoro crater for another game drive in the crater exploring the short-grass plains of the crater floor.
